He is remembered as the father of the Aurès revolution and a key architect of the November 1st uprising.

Their story

From the Aurès mountains, Mostefa Ben Boulaïd was one of the six historic chiefs who launched the November 1954 insurrection. He turned his region into a furnace of armed struggle from the very first night.
