Their story
A young militant from Algiers, Hassiba Ben Bouali joined the urban network of the FLN during the Battle of Algiers, sheltering fighters and carrying out clandestine missions in the Casbah.
Did you know?
She was killed in 1957 in the explosion of the safehouse of Ali La Pointe in the Casbah.
